What is the difference between each package?

Digital Only Package: Receive digital scans of your film prints as digital files via an online gallery. Easy to access, share, download and post on social media.

Digital & Physical Print: Includes physical 4x6" prints we will ship out and mail to you.

How long do I have to send the cameras back?

We have no time limit on sending the cameras back, however, keep in mind that all your precious memories are stored on the camera. Therefore, the longer they are left undeveloped, the higher chance there is of losing or damaging them.

Do I need to provide my own battery or film?

No, the cameras are preloaded with in-built batteries and Fujifilm 400ISO film.

Do you provide black and white film?

Yes, all digital film scans are provided in colour and black and white.

Physical prints however are only in colour.

How many photos will I get?

The amount of photos you get is dependent on the amount of photos you and your guests take.

Each camera has 27 photos, so across all 6 captur cameras you will receive a maximum of 162 photos.

Shipping and Returns

Where do you ship to?

As of right now, we only ship nationwide to the UK.

If you are from the UK and are planning an international wedding, you should ship the cameras to your UK address and take them with you. The cameras are packaged in a heavy-duty box for easy transport.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, all shipping is free. This includes a free pre-paid returns label and also shipping of physical prints once they have been developed.

When do I receive my package?

You will receive your cameras 3-10 days before your event start date.

It is important to ensure the accuracy of your start date to prevent any issues.

How do I send back my cameras for development?

Once your event is finished, kindly place your cameras back into the heavy-duty case, before placing it inside a packing box. Simply, attach the prepaid returns label and deliver it to the local returns provider.

Please note: The returns provider will be specified on the returns label and in an email. We typically use Evri or Royal Mail however, this may change. Any complications with the returns process please email support@capturcameras.co.uk.

Can I order if my wedding is next year?

Yes, you can order at any point for any date no matter how far in the future.

On your wedding day

Should I use flash?

YES! It is very important to use flash with disposable cameras, especially in interior settings. A good practice is the always use flash no matter the setting - this will ensure your memories are captured onto the film issue-free.

We have printed helpful reminders on to the back of each camera to ensure your guests always use it.

What if a camera is lost?

We do not charge for lost cameras. However, lost cameras = lost memories, so please try your best to keep hold of all cameras.

The most common culprit for missing cameras are guests forgetting to give them back so make sure to check with your family and friends.

If a camera is lost please keep hold of the others until you find it as we only send out one prepaid returns label per package.

Film Development

When will I receive my photos back?

Our film turnaround, covering development, scanning, retouching, red-eye removal, and private gallery upload, is typically 2-3 weeks upon receiving your cameras. Additionally, please expect an additional 3-5 days if you ordered physical prints.

Please note these are estimations.

Do you retouch and do red-eye removal?

Our retouching process is such an important step at captur. After the development and scanning phase, our skilled team swiftly engages in retouching and red-eye removal. 

We ensure we preserve and enhance the authentic essence of film.

Do I need to develop the photos myself?

No, as a full-service provider we handle all the development, retouching and delivery of the film prints to you.
